Amanda Matje PA-C Amanda, a born-and-raised Flagstaff native, has been an orthopedic physician assistant for more than nine years and has expertise working in all areas of orthopedics. Her more primary focus has centered around hand and upper extremity care. Prior to becoming a PA, Amanda graduated Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University with a degree in biology. She then attended Midwestern University, in Downers Grove, Ill., receiving a master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys family time, refinishing furniture, volleyball, softball, snowboarding, surfing, biking and hiking. She currently provides expert hand and upper extremity care for patients in the Hand Center at NAO.

Kim Sargent, PA-C is a physician assistant at Northern Arizona Orthopaedics. She has a special interest in Spine and Hand care. Kimberly grew up in Oregon where she attended the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!). She received her Bachelor of Fine Art specializing in Fibers. She became a seamstress and worked for a top independent company that created climbing equipment and backpacks. Although it was a fun profession, she felt pursuing a career that would allow her to help others and make a difference, would be more fulfilling.
